Scala Developer Intern (Spark)

Internship Responsibilities Assist in developing distributed data processing applications using Scala and Apache Spark Work on data transformation, batch processing, and basic stream processing tasks Support in writing clean, efficient, and scalable Spark jobs Participate in debugging, performance tuning, and optimization of distributed workloads Collaborate with senior developers to understand data pipelines and system architecture Document learnings, code logic, and implementation approaches Basic Internship Requirements Basic understanding of programming concepts and data structures Familiarity with Scala or willingness to learn Scala quickly Introductory knowledge of distributed systems or big data concepts Understanding of databases and data formats such as CSV or JSON Strong learning mindset and ability to work in a team environment
