Internship Role

As a Business Development & Trade Operations Intern, you will work closely with the leadership team to support business growth initiatives, identify new opportunities, and gain hands-on exposure to the textile and international trade industry.

This is not a desk-only internship. You will actively contribute to supplier sourcing, customer acquisition, industry events, exhibitions, market research, and business operations while understanding how a global trading business functions from end to end.

Roles & Responsibilities

Business Development

• Research and identify potential domestic and international customers.
• Source and onboard new suppliers and manufacturing partners.
• Generate qualified business leads through various online and offline channels.
• Build and maintain a database of prospective clients and suppliers.
• Assist in initiating communication with potential business partners.
• Support relationship management with existing customers and vendors.

Market Research

• Study textile industry trends, yarn categories, pricing, and global trade opportunities.
• Analyze competitors and identify emerging business opportunities.
• Research new export markets and potential sourcing destinations.

Trade & Operations

• Assist the team in coordinating domestic and international trade activities.
• Support documentation and operational processes related to sourcing and sales.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth execution of orders.
• Learn the end-to-end business cycle from inquiry to order execution.

Events & Industry Exposure

• Represent Alltex Exim at textile exhibitions, trade fairs, networking events, and business expos.
• Assist in organizing meetings, exhibitions, and promotional activities.
• Build professional relationships with industry stakeholders during events.

Digital & Business Support

• Help maintain CRM and business databases.
• Prepare reports, presentations, and business proposals.
• Support social media, branding, and marketing initiatives whenever required.

Who Should Apply?

We are looking for individuals who are:

• Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree (BBA, MBA, B.Com, International Business, Marketing, Textile, Engineering, or related fields).
• Curious about international trade, exports, imports, and business development.
• Strong communicators with good interpersonal skills.
• Comfortable using MS Excel, Google Workspace, and online research tools.
• Self-driven, proactive, and eager to learn.
• Willing to attend business meetings, exhibitions, and networking events when required.
